Yes, you can point to more than one instance of SFDC - you just need to edit your sparkler.xml file under the commented section:
<!-- List of organization-specific Salesforce.com consumer secrets. The text after "sparkler.sfdc.org." in name specifies the organization name,
and value is set as the consumer secret for that organization. -->
Thanks, Paul. What if the server is already configured using an environment variable for one of the secrets? Would an entry in sparkler.xml effectively overwrite that?
I've never tried to configure it using an environment variable so I'm not sure. I'd say...give it a go and see what happens? If it doesn't work does removing the environment variable and having it all in the xml fix it?
How to proceed with Sparkler.xml file when I have different set ups maintained at Salesforce as I need to update the Consumer Secret Key entries followed by different site names, different Tableau Server URL's.
I was just curious if the above scenario will still be applicable in above case?
Resurrecting this to see if anyone has found a solution to this? We have a similar need - two Salesforce pages with two different consumer secret keys that we would like to connect through one Sparkler instance. I reached out to support but since it is outside of Tableau Server it isn't officially supported. Any ideas, or is the only option to run a second Sparkler server?
