(just catching this thread up to our offline email conversation)
Doesn't look like you did anything wrong, and it does look like VizAlerts sent the email off as designed. It seems as though something else is preventing you from receiving emails sent from it that you're CC'd on--possibly Spam / Junk filters, or Rules, or some other mail server issue or other. Recommend checking all spam/junk/deleted folders as well as broadly searching for all email received today. If you're unable to find it, check with your mail server admin.
CORRECTION: This was actually a bug, many thanks to Toby for his patience and irrefutable mountain of facts to show me so. I added it to the 1.0.1 list and there should be a fix by Monday.
Toby, this should be fixed now in the new version, 1.0.2, that I just posted. Please let me know how it goes!
