Hi Mamta, generally speaking, if you're trying to locate a file in Windows, you can use the Windows search (for example, by pressing the Windows-F key combination and then entering the filename). It's common to download or save a file and not be able to find it later -- Windows search can help solve that problem.
However, in this case, there is an easier solution. The Data Extract API is rather picky about file paths, and on Windows, it requires backslashes rather than forward slashes (even though most other Windows programs don't care). For Java, you'll need to escape (double up) your backslashes, so your example would look like this:
Extract extract = new Extract("c:\\tde\\order-java.tde");
Thanks Jeff, specifying the path with backslash worked, also I was able to locate the generated tde, just had to refresh the workspace.
