    Use one field to look up another?


      I want to know if I can create a calculated field that looks up a value in a row and then searches for that corresponding record. Let me explain. I'm dealing with a help desk ticketing system. A master ticket can have sub records. All of those records are in a single spreadsheet as rows. Each master ticket has a "sub tickets" column and each sub ticket has a master ticket column; basically referencing one another. I want to be able to create a dashboard can pull that information together into views. So if I have a master I can easily say there are 3 sub tickets related to this topic... etc. Can this be done?
