Thanks, but I guess this is not what I'm looking for. I was not looking at how to blend multiple data sources in one single worksheet, but a filter that can apply on all worksheets on multiple data sources in a dashboard without using a parameter. Any other suggestions?

Yes and no, a filter must have a something it recognizes to filter, which is why it dosnt allow across different data sources.
If your Data Source 1 has [City] and your Data Source 2 does not, it wouldnt let you filter based on [city]. But since you do want to filter across multiple datasources, i assume they have 1 or more fields in common.
You just need to create a relationship between the two databases, something like. [City] = [City] so that it will now allow you to filter across datasources.
You can go to your edit datasource to create joints.
We can't apply global filter for Multiple Databases.
