    Jonathan Drummey

Please join us for the Maine Tableau User Group meeting on March 10th from 7:30-9:30am at the Hilton Garden Inn on 65 Commercial St. in Portland. A continental breakfast will be provided.

      • 7:30am - 8:00am: Tableau used in CORIS - Maruthi Govindappa, Business Intelligence Manager, Abilis and Douglas Richards, CORIS Architect, Abilis

CORIS is a correctional information system that runs prisons and jails (including Maine, NH, and Virginia).  Safety and operational efficiency are top priorities for the State Department of Corrections.  Dashboards were created to visually analyze key offender information (such as incidents and gang affiliation) in prison.  These dashboards enable officials to proactively identify potential issues so corrective action can be taken to improve safety.  Key learning’s are how Tableau’s data visualization capabilities can be applied to a large, secure, mission critical database and used to highlight critical trends happening by focusing on the right data and setting the right range settings. http://www.coris.net/cms/

      • 8:00am - 8:30am: Tableau used at TD Bank - Catherine Rush, TD Bank

When people think of TD, they think of customer service and great convenience.  Catherine will provide examples of how teams across TD’s footprint are using Tableau to maintain these high standards of service and convenience; and touch a bit on Tableau's history at TD along with its continued growth.

      • 8:30am - 9:30am: Tableau Representative speaks about version 9.0

Tableau version 9.0 is in beta and it promises to include many new capabilities that will improve the way Business Intelligence is done.  Please join us for a sneak peek at what is coming.  (As this V9.0 session is being held prior to official public release, please understand any and all information shared during this session is subject to change and Tableau is not liable for any changes made prior topublic release.)
