If you goto licenses tab on admin page, you should be able to see how many have been assigned and how many you have remaining. It shows something similar to
Ex: 80/100 - which translates to 80 assigned and 20 available to be given out.
Are you looking any additional information.
Thanks for the reply. Do you know if the that number (the total licenses) is stored in the database at all - and if so, which table?

I'm not sure if the number of total available licenses is shown in the Postgres (I don't think it is after taking a quick look), but what you can do is if you know what your cap is, you can find out how many is being used:
SELECT licensing_roles.name FROM licensing_roles JOIN users ON users.licensing_role_id = licensing_roles.id
This will give you the name of the roles (Viewer, Interactor, Unlicensed, Guest). Then just do a count of the number of times it appears. For example the above may show:
So my server would have 2 unlicensed user on Tableau Server and 3 interactors. If you want more details like the name of the actual users taking up those licenses, you can join in the system_users table too.
Hey Kevin Liu I have a Powershell script which will show you all the Roles of all Users in your Tableau Server. It doesn't show how many Licenses you have left, but it will give you an accurate count of who you have.
