>install Tableau Public.it's free

1 of 1 people found this helpfulHi Andrew,
Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm trying to understand your frustration a little better. Is it because you want to buy right away or because you need to extend your trial time?
Let me know so I can give this feedback to our team!

Andrew Smith Feb 12, 2015 12:52 PM (in response to Tracy Rodgers)Tracey - thanks for replying - I was frustrated because I have an extended trial period available to me at work (27 Feb) for the desktop version, but any evaluation I want to do at home am unable to do due to the 14 day trial period. However, I was unaware of the Tableau Public - which looks like it gives me enough to test things I didn't have the time to do at work....

You can also install the same version on two machines -- I'm not sure if this helps your Trial scenario or not, but whatever you've set up at work should be able to be set up at home as well, at least in my experience.
Best of luck!

Ah, so you have a different license key at home, which has expired. That makes sense. Also, for future reference, it's possible to use the same trial key for two different machines. The whole idea is that if you can't take your work computer home, you can still do some work (don't know if that's a good or a bad thing ) or use Tableau.
Regardless, I'll give this feedback!
Thanks!
