# graph with 3 measures

We are facing a graph of analysis that is generating doubts realization.

The goal is to see in the same figure 3 different measurement data, the 3 measurement data measure the same, ie measuring money.

The first measure is total invoiced

The second measure is the total charged

The third measure is the total paid to the worker

We now know how to make a graph in which we can add 2 measures, but we would like to add a third, and that this was in line format. Any ideas on this?

Below is a screenshot attached an extract of example for you to understand what the problem is and we do not see a solution. • ###### 1. Re: graph with 3 measures

Hi Alejandro,

I just used the measure value into row shelf and remove remaining.

• ###### 2. Re: graph with 3 measures

You can do that like this: The trick is to combine the bars in the measure values and create a line on a seperate row. Then select dual Axis and it will combine the items. as shown.

• ###### 3. Re: graph with 3 measures

Hi,

Look into attached workbook, where multiple measures were placed in single sheet.

• ###### 4. Re: graph with 3 measures

First, thank all the examples shown by all. He had already reached these conclusions but not exactly what we want to implement solution, because (looking at our picture) measure 1 and measure 2 are combined into a double axis and the third measure would be superimposed on each other.

In the examples we have seen, measure 1 and 2 are not combined in one axis, just show the value of each matter, I do not know if I explained well, sorry

• ###### 5. Re: graph with 3 measures

Hi,

Try with attached Packaged Workbook.

• ###### 6. Re: graph with 3 measures

Hi,

Go through the attached Document, where explained very clearly how to get this desired output.

Best Regards

Hi Kumar,

I have tested it, but do not just correctly out the measures. Here's an example of what is happening, you see, the first step is shown well in the graph, but the second measure, should be proportional to its value and is not doing well. • ###### 9. Re: graph with 3 measures

As per my analysis, we have to define manually which columns is first then second it means, in the attached document I have placed Sales. Profit, Orders.

Here Always Orders quantity is least put of the the 3 measures , Profit is lesser than Sales, Sales is top.

So placed then as per their figures. • ###### 10. Re: graph with 3 measures

Right Kumar, I understand what you comment and give as valid;-D. But what I wanted to comment, is that visual effects, in your example, sales of the "Central" region really do not add 115K, 98K really are and if we look at the sidebar gives the impression that they are more sales should .

Kumar many thanks for all knowledge, very grateful;-D

Any way to put the measured values next to each other? Its too hard to understand smaller values on the same axis when they are stacked.

I.e - Units, Sales, profits a 3 bars per region/month?

Hi,

Can you tell me how can I make bars graphs show in a Vertical manner.

to be more clear , three bar graphs  - bar 1 has three stacks wth three diff colors  , bar two has one color and bar 3 has another color all should be shown in a verticle stack . (Also , there are three measures in first bar and 2 measures for other two bars respectively)
