Hi Peder, based on this article (Extract API error measuring utf8 to utf16), I suggest that you try encoding the strings as utf8. The article talks about Java but it's likely that this works the same as Python.
Thank you for your answer. I have looked at the link you refer to, but i am not sure, where i have to change. Do you mean the .csv file to utf-8 or somewhere in the Python code or in the dataextract API Code?
You'll need to have the proper encoding when you call the DataExtract API. The setString method expects a unicode argument, so make sure that you pass it a unicode string.
