I believe the url type simply has to match. I.e. if the server is SSL enabled (https), then the extension needs to be https as well. Hosting the images on a secure site may allow the images to display properly.
I hope this helps!

As Diego mentioned, if Tableau Server has SSL enabled, you would want to include the https in the URL of each image. Hosting the images on a site also using https:// should resolve the issue.
A possible reason your images are not displaying is because your browser probably blocks mixed-origin frames. You could turn that setting off, but a lot of the time (if you are on a work computer) an IT team wouldn't allow you to. Also, you can't be sure all of your end users can change their setting to.
Let us know if hosting the images on a SSL server resolves the issue.
Have a great day!
Is it possible to change Tableau's settings to display http? It seems likely that https is the default for many browsers and the end user won't know/care to change their browser settings. Thanks.
