Some self promotion, but I'm teaching a 2-Day Data Management (SQL and Data Modeling) training course at the University of Cincinnati on January 29th and 30th. The course is meant for people interested in data to help them develop their skills on the data side of projects. The focus is on teaching basic to advance Microsoft SQL (MSSQL) and will also cover some basics on how to understand/create data models and different ways to structure data. The basic SQL portion will include coverage of JOINs, GROUP BY, CASE, variety of functions and other syntax, while advance SQL will focus on variables, stored procedures, dynamic statements, PIVOT/UNPIVOT, and IF/THEN/WHILE (procedural).

(I highly suggest reviewing this list, I've participated in a few of the courses and found them to be great!)
