My suggestion will be to add a user to the project with Deny permissions to Add Comments and then have the user test whether they can delete the comments. Then, report back to the community.
Thanks, but that actually takes me in the wrong direction. Let me try a better explanation.
User A can add a comment. User A can also delete ONLY THEIR OWN comments.
User B can add a comment. User B can SEE comments made by User A. User B CANNOT delete comments made by User A.
User C is an admin and can delete comments made by anyone.
This is the default behavior. I am looking for a way that User B can delete comments made by User A without making User B an admin. I see perms for View Comments and Add Comments, but not Delete Comments.
This would be useful for us, too. We're asking for feedback/changes to a visualization, and we'd like to be able (as publishers) to delete user feedback after issues have been addressed.
I don't think this is possible. If you REALLY trust the person you could make them a Site Administrator
