I am not able to connect to Impala which is on AWS cloud using pem file from Tableau Desktop. We have installed Cloudera ODBC driver.
For Impala 1.2 we verified that port 21000 is open and accessible but does not find sufficient option from ODBC driver options.
While I don't have much experience in connecting to Impala, a screenshot of any errors you are encountering and steps to reproduce the issue, may be helpful. I would also consider making a support case to firstname.lastname@example.org
