    Adding category distorts sorting

      I have a worksheet that looks like this (sorry about the screenshot, this is all I can do at the moment):


      I have a Business Number (BN) and an amount. What I want to do is to sort by amount. This works fine with this set-up.

      But then I add a category to the rows, now I get a result like this:


      BN 767 is now in the wrong position. I know that overall it belongs in that postion, but not when when you add a Category.

      So what I want to do is to sort each category and BN by amount.

      Why does this happen and how can I fix it.
