Can you provide addtl context on how you set this up? Are you using trusted auth? Saml? Also, are you using filters? The user needs access to those as well. Just to verify, are you embedding using iFrames or via the Sparkler canvas adapter?
The Sparkler Canvas adapter is what is being utilized.
From what I am hearing from the server team, neither SAML or Tursted Authentication is being used. If that is the issue, then my question is why am I able to access the dashboards from Salesforce and another user is not?
With regards to filters, if you are talking about filters on the dashboards, yes they are being used. As noted in the original post, the user that is unable to complete the access through Salesforce is able to render the dashboard completely if the user goes directly to the tableau server. Therefore, I do not believe that filters are the issue.
If you are talking about user filters, the answer is no, there are no user filters being used at this time.
Thank you for assisting with this.
Here is an update: I have successfully gotten other users than myself to render the reports. However, what I had to do was remove all of the ts.filter parameters. Do the filters in the reports need to be set up in a different way in order for the reports to render correctly when other users run the reports in force.com?
Cool. All you have to do is grant filter permission to the users and you should be set.
Update #2: Changed the permissions on Tableau Server and everything is now working!!
Awesome. Glad to hear that
