    Summing Distinct Values

    Josh Pyszkowski

      All,

I work with a lot of hierarchical date and always need to roll things up. My issue lies with summing values obtained by summing distinct values...if that makes sense. Attached is my workbook so you can see what I am dealing with. I have used the link below to sum the distinct values at the Vertical level when rolled up to the Owner name level, but when I want to roll up to the Region level the SumDistinct calculation that I created doesn't work and only chooses the MAX of whats at the owner level. When rolled up to Region, West should total 3,337,950. I some how need to wrap the SumDistinct within another SumDistinct...Any thoughts?
