Can you just right click on the NULL and "Edit Alias" to a couple of blank spaces? One blank space may not work, if you already have values that are equivalent to that. But if its for display purposes only, I would think that would suffice.
Thanks for responding Matthew--I don't see the edit alias option (as in picture)--am I missing something on that?
Also, I'll have to create many of these for different customers, so changing each NULL may be very time consuming.
Any additional ideas? I'm hoping there's a formula that can change anything with a Date to "Yes" and anything Null to "No"
I see what you mean. If you can post a small subset of records into a packaged workbook, I'm happy to take a look.
Otherwise, you might try something like:
IF ISNULL((str([Date]))) then '' else (str(YEAR(Date))) end
There may be a better option, though, as this results in a String data type.
Ah that works perfectly, thanks so much! I guess my issue was that I wasn't putting "str" before the fields in the formulas that I was trying.
