    Need help formatting Excel data so it can be used properly by Tableau

      I heard that excel sheets should be arranged into tall formats so you have a category on the first row, then all the data below it. My problem is that some other fields mixed in with the month data.


      I attached a sample version of what I'm currently trying to do. The fields in grey are what throw me off, I'm not sure how to format the file so that Tableau will properly recognize the fields.


      I want to create a sheet that shows the performance metrics filtered by the dates.
