I'm not very sure if I got your question! By the vague idea that i get, the values you don't want to display can be excluded. Simply, hover your mouse over that value, you'll get an option of Exclude.
Hope it helps!
Europe with out UK and Germnay is given a name and has a value like all other countries.
If you have to group, select the places on the Map. You'll see a pin sort of image. Click on it. It'll group your respective nations
Is that option available in Tableau public??
Basically I want to show the following data in map
E55 is the name for the countries of europe excluding germany and UK.
Value India 35 USA 42 Singapore 13 Africa 56 Germany 27 China 47 Japan 18 UK 16
As of now i am using shape files.
My requirement is that to highlight the nations with values using a color based on the value.
What i need is to show Europe as a single unit displaying a value like all other nations.
The above workbook isnt in tableau public. Can you please send me the workbook which is in tableau public.
Sorry if i dint convey correctly.
The scenario is i have to plot for all the provided nations except for countries in Europe.
So to be precise E55 is to be considered a country(excluding UK and Germany).
Lika all nations E55 also holds one value rather than E55 as a group and each country inside has a value.
Eg: India,China,USA,Japan,E55,UK,USA and germany
