Thermometers and gauges are considered bad data visualization, so we don't support them out of the box. Use a bullet chart instead.
If you really, really HAD to have one of these, you could probably create one by putting the background image of an "empty" thermometer in a worksheet, and then overlay the image with a barchart (turning off axes, etc.). Your "stripped down" bar chart would "fill" the image of the thermometer.
But again, we don't recommend this approach.

So I use a dual axis bar chart instead - I am facing a problem that I want to match the upper limit of both the axis so that 100% = value max, but synchronization is not working nor I am able to specify a field (or sum calculation) for max scale value on right side.
Is it possible? If yes, can you guide me.
It would be helpful if you posted a sample so the folks here don’t have to re-create sample data in order to try and assist ☺
