Thank you. I took a look at the documentation and it looks like it is grouping or filtering data (or rows) which are being returned. I am trying to allow my users to manage the Columns of data.
i.e. I am showing several columns of data. Some users may only be interested in seeing columns 2-4 (these users do not care about the street address - columnt 5) , and other users may be interested in seeing columns 2-5 (want to see a street address), and some others may be interested in seeing column 3, and 5 (zip code and street address).
All of the users can see the same data, so no filter on the data is needed.
The ideal situation would be to have a "column filter" list, on the dashboard, showing the possible columns, allowing the user to select which columns they would like to see. (Similar to when adding and removing a column when creating a worksheet)

You may be able to use parameters to your advantage here then. If you have two separate parameter controls/calculations, the user can decide which two columns he wants seen. The following KB article shows how a parameter can be used to select a field:
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your post!
Here I can select any one value for a parameter. Can you please let me know if there's way of selecting multiple columns for a table.
Were you able to solve this? I am a beginner and trying to achieve the same goal for one of my views.
Any help would be appreciated.
