9/9/9999 not allowed in 8.1 date parameter

I noticed that in Tableau 8.1 it does not allow the use of '9/9/9999' as the current value in a Date-type parameter. This was possible in v7.

In SQL it's kind of an informal practice to initialize a dummy default date of '9/9/9999' and because it's an improbable number it's useful as a handler. I want to be able to build my parameter with this in mind. Don't want to get too much into that but curious as to why in v8 it maxes at '9/9/7999' instead of the good ol' all-9 series.

Any reason for this limitation in v8?
