    Using SysInternals for Tableau Server

    Julius

I would like to get the Community's help + solicit ideas. I have been using the Process Explorer tool from SysInternals to watch the six Tableau Server processes. It's a nice free tool to see real-time usage of CPU, RAM, and I/O. My attached pdf shows the trace to the Tableau services. Process Explorer can also generate DUMP files (*.DMP extension) for any process being watched. I need help getting this binary file into a Tableau-readable format and turning it into a visualization. The goal is to correlate the timestamp of the observed process with workbook usage on the server. This could serve as a low-level picture into what's actually consuming the server resources. Anyone have experience with conversion of DMP files or possibly another answer/ideas on how to leverage Process Explorer for Tableau Server?
