Change week start in Google Analytics?

When I connect to Google Analytics, the option to change the week start is not available, is there a way around this?

Side note: if you are having a similar problem with a data extract you need to remove the extract, change the week start and then re-extract the data.

If week starts can only be changed when not using an extract, is there a way to connect to Google Analytics and not use an extract? Or is there a way to select the weeks start day before generating the extract?
