I've seen this a couple times and normally have been able to resolve by playing with the height/width in the <object> parameters or in same options using JS -- looks like this isn't working for you.
Have you tried attacking this from the opposite direction? Maybe making the viz itself a few pixels taller/shorter thinner/wider?
Could you try this viz in Tableau Server 8.1? In previous versions, certain vizzes with the embed=y flag would get stuck in an infinite resize loop as you are seeing here.
In 8.1, however, one of our developers added a fix for this that addressed all of the internal reproductions we had. I'd bet yours will be fixed as well.

Hi Matthew. May I ask did you find this issue resolved once you upgraded? I'm seeing the same issue using 8.0.5.
Nick, I made the recommendation to the client to upgrade to 8.1, but because of the size of the organization and the change management processes involved, I think it will be a little while before they can upgrade. At least they know that there is a fix for this issue once they do.
