You could always create a web page with a list of those links and embed that page in the dashboard using the "Web Page" functionality.
I got this on my Dashboard but when I published that, I am unable to see it in my server. Any particular reasons and Solutions?
See the attached. I've created two calculated fields that are just strings that say "Go to Google", etc. Placed those on a sheet, then placed the sheets on a dashboard. I formatted them to be blue/underlined, then added URL "select" actions to both (also removed the tooltips and tooltip commands).
Not sure if this helps you or not, but its one way to create text hyperlinks to the web in Tableau. Hope this helps you in some way.

Thank You Matthew and Dallin.
No problem. Did you need help with something else (question is not marked "answered")? I don't care if you mark my answer correct, but marking it answered in some way helps keep the forum clean, as helpers will know that you have an answer.
If your question isn't answered, let us know what else you need to know.
I'll do that.
After publishing the workbook on to the server, when I click the link, it directs me to the view page in the server and it says "Sorry, the view you were looking for does not exist, or you do not have permission to see that view".
But it works absolutely fine in the desktop.
I'm not sure what you mean by "the view page in the server".
What kind of link is it? Are you linking to other dashboards you've uploaded?
I just tested my example, uploaded to Server, and when clicking on the link, it took me to Google/Bing in a separate tab.
I have a Dashboard. On the tooltip I have 3 URL actions taking me to google, wikipedia and yahoo.
As per your suggestions, I created another sheet just like yours taking me to walmart.com.
I brought this sheet also to the same dashboard and all the actions work absolutely fine as I want it to work.
Then I published the dashboard to my server.
Now, when I click any of the links on the same dashboard in the server, It is directing me to Contents> views and I can see this error "Sorry, the view you were looking for does not exist, or you do not have permission to see that view".
I am unable to understand the reason for this.
I am unable to understand it either, but if you can post your workbook here, I will gladly take a look.
Did the tooltip URL actions work previously on Server?
Have you tried a different browser? I doubt that's an issue, but I've seen some odd behavior in Chrome, in particular.
Yes the tooltip URL actions worked well on the Server previously and they are still working fine on the dashboard. Sorry buddy, Can't post the work here
Can you suggest somethings that I can do as an alternate? Sorry for the trouble.
I'm sorry, but I am having a hard time understanding you. So, the tooltip URLs still work fine on Tableau Server? You said they are "still working fine on the dashboard". Did you mean "on Tableau Desktop" or are the tooltip actions still working as they should all around?
Yes, you can mock up a very simple example like I did and see if you get the same behavior. If you do, post that example here (or ****, just use the example I provided--I've already confirmed that it works as it should on my end).
What about trying a different browser? Did you do this?
The tooltip actions are presently working fine only on the "desktop" and they were working fine on the "server" too prior to me replicating of the example you showed me. Your example is working fine on my "server" too. But my example seems to work on my "desktop".
I will try playing around with some more options and using a different browser.
Thank you so much!
No problem. I assume there is a problem with the URLs or actions, but without seeing them, I cannot say. You are welcome to email me directly at email@example.com if you want to share some screenshots of the URL actions, etc.
