How can I import numbers with leading zeros

    Brandon Eller

I have been having trouble importing a csv file (pipe delimited) where one of the fields has leading zeros. I have pasted an example below. When I import that data I get many null values and a couple successful values with the leading zeros trimmed off. Any ideas on how I can force Tableau to treat this field as a string?
