I have a dashboard with multiple charts. I have a bar chart, the first value of which is somewhat of an outlier: it is significantly greater in $$ value than the rest of the values. When doing analysis, I right click the value and click Exclude.
This only excludes it from the bar chart, however, no other charts on my dashboard are updated. I was wondering how I can make it so that excluding something on one chart automatically excludes it on all other charts on the same dashboard.
When you exclude it on that chart, a filter is added to the Filters Shelf in Tableau. You should be able to right click on that filter and choose "Apply To All" and it will exclude that mark from the other worksheets using the same data source.
