I guess the problem with my requirement is that I need to include three colors in the range for customizing the "diverging" palette. By default, the diverging palette in Tableau is constructed for two colors. Help!
Tracy gave you the correct answer so it will require some work on your end now.

This is one way. Just copy the above and then delete the space after each "<" and the space before each ">". (I had to put those extra spaces in so the code would appear in the posting.)
