All,
I am relatively new to Tableau but essentially am looking at using the software to solve for some business challenges. One item that I think I'm close to figuring out but haven't quite gotten there is a Color formatting applied to a cell based on a member of a hierarchy. For example. I have a hierarchy with State and City. I have a calculated field that is a percent. What I would like to see is a simple cross tab with a color formatting that compares the City value to the State. If the City value is 80% but the State value is 90% then turn the cell red. If the city value was 95%, turn it green. I am looking at the relative to options in the table calculation but haven't made it work. Is this possible to do?
Hi, Did you try Window_sum and Sum Combination?
It would be nice if you can upload some sample data or a packaged workbook to look more deeper
