How can I combine two data sources together that have the same data columns together?

      Hey Guys,

This is my first time writing on here, so forgive me if I don't describe my issue well enough.

I'm having issues with combining two data sources in Tableau. The issue is with a file that I had to split in two because my computer can't handle the processing anymore (it's over 1M rows). So I split the files up, one with 9.1-9.15 data and one with 9.16-9.31 data. I then bring the data into Tableau, but when I try to sum up costs from both of the files, Tableau is unable to give me data from the 16th to the 31st and only combines the data from the 1st-16th because the second data source has residual data in it from that date range. Does anyone know why this is or how I can resolve this issue? Is there a different way to combine data within Tableau so that these two sources are together?

      Thanks for the help everyone,

      Brian
