Data limit on Tableau Desktop 8 trial?

    Matt Lowe

I'm using the Tableau Desktop 8 trial to see if Tableau will be a good solution for analysis we need to perform on our video game.

The first test I've run was to create some visualizations based on an Excel sheet which contains 135,000 rows of data. I've connected to that sheet as my source but when I view the data in Tableau it seems to only be using 10,000 rows of that data, with the vast majority missing.

Is there a limit to the number of rows I can view from an Excel sheet in Tableau or is this a specific limit to the trial?

      Any help appreciated, thanks.
