Disable/Change Auto Refresh on Tableau Server?

    ruth.wyer

      Hi,

I'm on v8.02 and publish workbooks to Tableau Server that is used company wide.  The reports are connected to a cube and the reports are auto refreshing in the server view.  I know the user can pause autorefresh but they have to remember to do this everytime the navigate to a different tab on the report as it defaults to auto refresh when they navigate away.  We have hierarchies in our filters which are quite difficult to use and if the user forgets to pause or gets caught up they lose their view.  Is there a way to disable or change the settings (per workbook) so that it only refresh when the report is opened?

      Thanks

      Ruth
