Calculate a field by a member in a set?

    Mary Howard

Hi, I've got a map with point on it, and I have learned how to create a set by selecting points, holding down the control key to get all the points that I need, and then form a set with those points.

Now I want to color all the points in that set to be a different color than the rest of the points, but, I want to keep all the other points on the map.

It seems to me that I should be able to form a calculated field based on whether the record is in the set, such as:

      iif (record in set1, 1, 0)

But I'm not sure how to do this in Tableau calculated fields.  Any ideas?  Or is there a way to color those in one set different from the other points- if I drag the set to the color field, it also puts it on the filter, which I don't want.

      -Mary
