You could also take advantage of a new feature in Tableau 8 where you can make your filter a Mulitple Values Drop Down. This gives you the ability to select/deselect more than one value AND always collapses the values to a single-line drop down control.
Folks what I understood is we cannot achieve this by using floating elements.
But we are trying to embed tableau output in to web application which has limited height and width.
So I tried the fit = fix width option and kept the Name filter on the top of the sheet.
But Now name filter is over lapping with the title of the sheet. Now question is how can we provide title just below name filter in the attached sheet.

Mkumar, I'm curious, how many different threads are you going to start that asks the same basic question? We understand that you are struggling with using layout containers. Let's consolidate all your questions to this single thread. Then we're not all building/re-building and posting the same basic solutions in several different places.
I'll rebuild the workbook adding a title and I'll post it in the thread I linked to above.
