Try creating a calculated field similar to the following:
if sum(Sales)=window_max(sum(Sales)) then max(State) end

Are you trying to do something similar to a VLOOKUP in Excel where you look up the value in one column (in this case the max) and then return the corresponding value from the same row in another column?

This works but I have some "null" values returned. So when I add it to details, it says "All". But If I filter out the "null" values then the whole chart changes. What's the best way to exclude null in the formula.
