Adding the IP address of your HANA server to Tableau is only the first step.
Your HANA server then needs to request a "trusted ticket" from Tableau Server, and that ticket must be plugged into the URL that you use to request the viz, ala:

The examples for trusted authentication are with Java, Ruby, and PHP.
Why? Because you then would need to “trust” the IP address of each client (browser) making a request – that could be hundreds of IP addresses, and each person at each address could request a ticket for any user on the Tableau Server. Your Tableau Server would essentially be “wide open” using this approach.
The request for a ticket should always happen on the server-side, therefore we show samples for typical server-side approaches. Hope this helps!
