Overlaying multiple data cuts on one map

      Hi everyone,

I am trying to overlay two sets of zip codes onto one map in tableau v8.0.1

Currently have a single set of ZIP codes which are segmented into two sets.  I'd like to over lay them on a map in two different colours. Is it actually possible to do this in tableau?

I can separate the values in SQL and re-import as two distinct sets of zip if needed.

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated!

      Thanks,

      Jansen

Duplicate the ZIP code field and then create a dual axis map. But that's either going to create a muddy filled map, or a point map where one mark is hiding behind another. You could create a calculated field that adds a bit of lat or long so you get the bottom marks out from under, but you can use the generated lat/longs in a calculated field so you'll first have to export them out to an Excel cross tab and bring them back in.

Or you could post a packaged workbook (twbx) with some sample data and a better description or mock-up png of what you're trying to accomplish, so we can actually help you.
