# Period to Period % of Difference with multiple measures

I am comparing 2 quarters and I want a % of difference to run down the 3rd column for all my measures:

Measure  Q1           Q2          % change

Height     72               73          5%

Weight     150          160          10%

How do I get a % difference between periods if have more than one measure???

I attached an example where I need a 3rd column % if Difference...

Hi William,

You can have multiple metric table calculations displayed in a table format.  See attached.

Sorry about that, here is the packaged

Here is the packaged with the file actually attached...:)

I don't want a graph.  I want 3 columns with the 2 periods showing actual data and then 3rd column the %ofdiff over all the measures.  This would be similar to a grand total column but cascading the % of diff down all the measures. I am still looking for an answer.

Ben:

I already did what you have provided but that is not what I am looking for.  I want a 3rd column which is so simple to do in Excel but finding tableau not so easy.  I want 2 rows with 3 columns..3rd column = % Difference.

Sometimes there's a gap between what we want and what's feasible.  Will your audience not understand what you are trying to convey if it's in a row vs a column?  Just something to think about.

See my example that is very easy to follow and less rows...Something so simple but in Tableau?  I haven't found a good suggestion yet.  I realize there are different ways to move the dimensions and columns but to my audience this is what makes sense so I am trying to replicate which I didn't think would be this difficult.
