How to display monthly difference from current month side by side?

    Bing W

I am trying to construct a simple tabular report but can't find my way around it. What I need is, after a user chooses a year and month, the report displays, as columns, the monthly sale, ytd (as of end of that month), sales from a month earlier, delta from current month, then sales from two months earlier, delta from that month. And the same for three month earlier.

For starter, it is easy to get one month in the table, or several months, or running differences, the trouble is I can't find a way to get them displayed side by side.

Below is a mockup of what I wanted to display - say for Aug. 2012, I want to show the following -

I am relatively new to Tableau. So if I missed something obvious, please still let me know,

      Thanks,
