Parameters can't be dynamically changed. Go to the front page of Ideas section, look to the leader board on the right. It's the first one, add your vote.
Do you really need a parameter that is dynamic (as you cannot change it dynamically any way)?
You could have a parameter with string values like today, this week, this month, etc.
and a calculation that limits returned results using today() and datetrunc()
Basically I'm looking for a way that report always loaded with today's date. How would I do that?
Use a filter
[your date field]=today()
as true on the filter shelf. This assumes that there are no times as part of your date.
You can create a calculated field returning true if the Date field correspond to today's date.
DATEDIFF( 'day',today(),[Date] ) = 0
Then drag it on the filter shelf and the report will always show today's data without manually setting a Date parameter.

Alex calculation is better
I use mine for Yesterday data
DATEDIFF( 'day',today(),[Date] ) = -1
I could set a calculated field as a filter to today's date but the date parameter on the report will not be changed to today's date. This is the issue. As discussed above, I don't think there is a way to auto changed the date parameter to display today's date every time user loads the report daily? Any idea or other method to perform this purpose?
Yours is also good if there are times as part of the datefield
No, but you if you are filtering and are sure you only have today's data, you could have a calculated field set as something like min(today()), put that on the level of detail and then you can include it as part of your title

I haven't try it but you could create;
- sheet 1 filtered on Today's date
- sheet 2 filtered on Parameters Date ,
- sheet 3 with a clickable button (create a string calculated field `Click` ,drag on Label shelf, select Circle mark....).
-Create a Home Dashboard showing Sheet 1 , 3 and Parameter
-Create a Second Dashboard showing Sheet 2 and Parameter
-On Home Dashboard create an Filter action ; source sheet 3 , target Dashboard 2
-Save Displaying Home Dashboard
This way when the user opens the reports , it gets today's data. Then by changing the date through the parameter and clicking the Click button , it will be redirected to the other Dashboard showing the selected day data.
