Date & Time conversion with Time correction

    Myles Boonstra

I'm looking for help establishing a date/time field for ploting energy usage.  The Microsoft SQL database that I'm connecting to has three fields relating to time.  The meter data is time stamped in Greenwich Mean Time (field labeled GMT) in a format as follows yyyymmddhhmm (200604010615 for example is April 1, 2006 at 6:15am).  There are two other fields that record corrections that must be applied to get the data in my local time zone.  Both fields (labelled CST adn DMT) are number of minutes simply added to GMT.

I'd like to create a simple date field say 'Date_Time' = GMT + CST + DMT.  For example:

      (200604010615) + (-360) + (60) = 200604010030 which is April 1, 2006 at 01:15

My database is too large to share so I've attached an excel showing a sample of the data.  Any help on how I can do this in Tableau is appreciated
