    Combining data from different sources/SQLs

      Hi Experts,

      Myself : New to tableau and evaluating tableau per my supervisor's request.

      Tableau : Desktop Professional  trial

      Here is what I am trying to achieve

      Load data from different tables and excel file independently then join the tables

      ex.

      1.From universal customer master application load customer data (ORACLE)

      select CUST_ID  ,CUST_NAME , CITY, STATE, COUNTRY from CUSTOMER;

      2.From Transaction database load the transaction history (ORACLE)

      Select CUST_ID, CAMPAIGN_ID, ORD_YR , ORD_QTY , PROD_ID , ORDR_TOTAL from ORDER;

      Select PROD_ID , PROD_NAME from PRODUCT;

      3.From Campaign management system load the campaign data (SQL Server 2008)

      Select CAMPAIGN_ID , CAMPAIGN_NAME from CAMPAIGN;

      4.From an excel file load campaign projection data (excel file)

      Load CAMPAIGN_ID , NUM_SENT , NUM_PROJ_RESPONSE from an excel file

      Establish join using the join feature

      Then do some analysis like Projected response vs actual orders received so forth

      Is it possible ?

      Thanks

      AP
