By default, the right-most field of my text table is a blank column named "Drop field here." The easiest work around is just to manually drag the column width to a narrow sliver. That isn't perfect, but it is acceptable. Would you know of a better method?
Also, in the data source, the two fields to the left are titled "Branch Open" and "Branch Closed"; how would I get rid of the "Day of" part of the name which Tableau adds automatically?
Removing Abc Column
Now I see. I did not know the answer. I tried a little bit, but it was not possible. Then I searched the forum and found several official statements saying that it is not possible:
Remove "Day of" Part
One way that works is using Exact Date.
"Exact Date" works perfect! I'll use that alot going forward.
I've got a decent work around for the last column issue.
Thanks alot for your help.
