That's exactly what I'd do Jason.
In the attached I created a new calculated field called "Sales Between 10 and 20" with the calculation: [Sales] >=10 and [Sales]<=20.
In a new sheet I dropped this calculation on the filter shelf. Selecting 'True'.
I added the date dimension to rows (Year >Month). Then I dragged Date to the rows again while holding down the right button on the mouse and dropped, selecting CNT(date). I then added CNT(date) to the labels shelf.

I actually meant to have a display to show # of days counted as I change the sales using the range of value filter... sorry I should've been more clear.
Would there be another way? Thanks for the help though
