You can right-click on the column name in the view > Edit Alias.
I cannot see that option.
On some columns I can right click and Edit aliases (plural) but that edits the content of the column, not the name of it ?
Sounds like the field is a dimension---where you can edit the the names of each member. But SUM(Sales) of course should be a measure. Can you post a screen shot or twbx excerpt?
Ahaaa... I think I'm being a daftie again.... I cannot change the alias on measure columns that are in rows and marked as discrete. Not quite sure why it is like that anyway because I can put them on a text shelf.
Still have the issue with dimension columns, which I can rename by giving it an alias in the dimensions list, but that affects everything else that is based on that same list which may not always apply.
Anyway.. less of a problem because I know more solutions to that.
