I don't think it is. I'm sure Tableau employees can scan the library, but they would otherwise be obfuscated.

Alex is spot on here. We don't automatically add published views to the Tableau Public gallery and the only way to currently find a visualization that has been uploaded is either share it or embed it. Essentially you need to know the exact URL - there is no search mechanism. Uploading a draft of a viz that will get worked on over a period of time and won't be embedded until it's ready is precisely the right strategy. It shouldn't be readily discoverable unless you specifically share it or someone somehow guesses the URL.
