Things that were hard (or near impossible), sure have become a lot easier. A simple, nicely formatted text table with mixed number formatting:
Is quick and easy now. That is all a single cell:
With nothing on the row or column shelf. If you've got to do text tables, this sure makes it easier. Great stuff guys, thanks!

Now if they only release a new version of Jive... your image links are broken for me.
Can you see them now?
Yep, just fine (FYI I'm in Chrome)
Update: Okay, I think I know what is happening here. Shawn copied the HTML from a post inside the secure 8 Beta group and pasted it into the message here in VizTalk. Since the image was originally uploaded to a secure group, Jive is only letting folks with access to the group see it...even when the image HTML is pasted outside the group. So I'm guessing Shawn can see the above image in this message while Sean cannot.
Shawn & Sean: Is this accurate?
TIP: Solving Y-Axis Label Problems
We frequently use scatter plots with Parameters to allow users to compare different measures. This produces something like this:
There are both aesthetic and functional problems with the axis labels. First the axis titles are static & generic, they don't change as the parameter changes. And of course there's the old problem of the Y-Axis being sideways, which is tough to read, especially with longer labels.
Using the new float containers we can solve both these problems:
Now the axis labels are meaningful, dynamic and easy to read.
PS: Note to UI team, thanks for adding the extra row of grays to the pull-down color palette, very handy.
Thanks for checking into it, Dustin. I do have access to the beta forum, but otherwise it looks like you're right about the cause.
