Hi,
I thought this would be pretty simple. I want to create a pie chart that shows numbers of parents versus children. The number of parents is the total number of records. Because there might be 1, 2 or 3... children of each parent, the number of children is the sum of the "number of children column." But I cannot seem to make a simple pie chart using SUM(Number of Records) and SUM(Number of Children). I am new so maybe I just don't get something basic. I get two bubbles, or one bubble that is all the same color. Need a pie with two colors showing this simple breakdown.
Hi Rosemary,
Remove Number of Records from the Angle shelf. Move Measure Names off of the rows shelf and place it on the color shelf.
Hope this helps!
